Unlockables

Complete the following tasks to unlock the Hoshipon shop and Meden mart.

Unlock Hoshipon Shop:
Achieve a team goal.

Unlock Meden Mart:
Complete the Cave of Valour.

The 3rd Birthday

Shower Scene (US version)

Make sure Aya is wearing a totally torn costume after mission 3 but before the next mission where Aya meets the Japanese scientist. Go downstairs and turn right into the bathroom and press X. Aya will say '...' and the shower scene will start. You do not need a game completion and you can get it in the first time playthrough.

Easy Evolved DNA

In Episode 6 when you are fighting Hyde Bohr (demi-human form) let him kill Aya. This will trigger a short cinematic and after it ends Aya will have assistance from Thelonious, Kyle, Gabriel, and Blank. Overdive to ALL four of them to receive one to four Evolved DNA. Pause gameplay by pressing 'Start' and then select 'Ascend' to return to base. This process can be repeated as many times as you want and will also work using the 'Case Training' option.

Unlock Lightning Costume and Blaze Edge

Complete the game 30 times. This must include at least twice in Easy, Normal, Hard, Deadly, and Genocide modes before the 30th playthrough. If you have already completed the game more than 30 times the Lightning Custom and Blaze Edge will become unlocked when you complete the game under the difficulty level that you have not yet completed twice. This can be done with 'Cheat Codes' enabled.

Unlock Costumes (US Version)

To get the following costumes in the US version of the game you must complete the corresponding task.

Unlock Lightning Custom:
Complete 57 total feats from Hard, Deadly, and Insane difficulty combined.

Unlock OD Suit:
Complete the game 5 times.

Unlock Music Files

Complete the game twice in any mode to unlock the music files.

Unlock Special Weapons

Unlock M249:
Beat the game in any mode.

Unlock Mk.46 Mode:
Beat the game in Normal mode.

Unlock M240B:
Beat the game twice in Hard mode.

Unlock Video Log

Complete the game to unlock this option which allows you to view ALL of the videos.

Assists

Complete the following tasks to unlock the corresponding assist for purchase.

Free Cross Fire:
Beat the game in any mode (costs 10,000 BP).

High Regen:
Beat the game in any mode (costs 10,000 BP).

Countless Ammo:
Beat the game 10 times in any mode.

Unlock Extra Ending

Clear the game twice to unlock an additional ending scene after the credits.

Unlock Game Modes

Unlock Deadly Mode:
Beat the game in Hard mode.

Unlock Genocide Mode:
Beat the game in Deadly mode.

Unlock Music Files

Complete the game twice in any mode to unlock the music files.

Unlock Extra DNA Board

Each time you complete the game you will gain an extra DNA Board up to a maximum of 5 boards.

Shower Scene

The shower scene in the 'Video Log' menu becomes available when you complete the game 50 times. Then when you view the scene in the Video Log 10 times you will be able to change the camera angle to her back.

Unlock Cheats Easily

To do this start a New Game+ mode game. Then to unlock both cheats at no cost use your BP to unlock them and then reload the same New Game+ mode saved game without saving first. When you do this the game will resume with your original amount of BP and the cheats will remain unlocked.

Unlock Alternate Ending

Complete the game under the Hard or better difficulty setting to view an extra scene after the credits.

Unlock Alternate Costumes

When you complete the following tasks the corresponding alternate costume will become available.

Unlock Apron Dress:
Complete the game under the Easy difficulty.

Unlock China Dress:
Complete the game under the Normal difficulty.

Unlock Swim Wear:
Complete the game under the Hard difficulty.

Unlock Knight Armour:
Complete the game under the Deadly difficulty.

Unlock Titanium Bunny:
Complete the game under the Genocide difficulty.

Unlock OD Suit:
Complete the game and have at least one stamp on the Square-Enix Member site.

Unlock Business Suit:
Complete the game (the costume is in the left hand locker room in the CTI Building).

Unlock Lightning Custom:
Complete the game and have at least 7 stamps on the Square-Enix Member site. Alternately, complete the game 9 times.

Unlock Santa Soldier:
Complete the game (the costume is found by going down the stairs to the lockers in Maeda's Base and searching the one on the left).

Unlock New Game+ Mode

Complete the game to unlock this feature which allows you to unlock up to two cheats at the 'Cheat' menu by spending the indicated amount of BP. When you restart the new game plus file you will retain your original BP and your unlocked cheats will remain unlocked.

Unlock View Mode

This feature becomes available when you complete the game on any difficulty setting with no cheat codes enabled and with the outfit you want with a 'AAA' score.

Shower Scene

Each time you complete a mission, if your outfit is damaged, you can go to a shower and get the scene. In the CTI building, it is the middle of the three open showers in the left locker room, or you can use the one shower in Maeda's apartment if the story has progressed that far.
